Gen
A genealogy program to display
family trees
Gen takes a gedcom file (*.ged) and
displays a family tree. Users can navigate up and down
the tree viewing details of ancestors and descendents.
Because the tree is the traditional top-down type, it is
easy to understand and navigate (unlike the more modern
left-right, expandable versions). See a screen shot here. The program also performs some interesting
searches on family details and generates statistics. Try
it out on my family gedcom file here.
