Information
for Parents

welcome you into your child’s learning world. I want to be in contact with each
of you on a regular basis. I want you to feel free to contact me. I will make

I will be sending home an evaluation sheet or rubric
(an outline of how I grade papers and projects) with each assignment. These
sheets will really show you how your child received the grade that he or she

How will you prepare my student for the
state tests?
During the
school year I will be familiarizing your student with the tests they are going
to take. I will also be teaching the content that will be tested in real ways
so your students will retain the knowledge and be ready for these tests. We
will practice and become familiar with what is going to be on the test, but I
will not lose focus of teaching important content as well.
