I am a brand new teacher and
am everyday trying to better myself as well as my assessment plan. My main goal
is to have a classroom full of successful learners. The main purpose of
assessments is to use the results to make educational decisions. I will align
my assessments with the New York State Learning Standards as well as the school
curriculum. I will use a combination of tests and performance tasks to assess
my students. I will also be observing my students in real life situations and
discussions. I invite any suggestions or
information you have about assessment.
There is a lot going on with our government and assessment and the
