| Game Type: Attack and Defend Situation: My team was attempting a frontal assualt at and enemy bunker. 3 players defending the bunker and 5 players attacking. About 50ft directly infront of the bunker were bushes. It came to the point where my whole team of 5 guys were pinned down behind the bushes. After exchanging a lot paint steadily for about 10 minutes the defending team broke the rules and sent 2 guys out of the base and after us, and left one guy to defend the bunker. We descided to pull back. So all 5 of us broke cover at the same time. That one guy that they left to defend the bunker shot all of us. Lesson: Cover each other! Game Type: Attack and Defend Situation: 3 guys defending in the bunker and 5 guys attacking. I was one of those five. While me and one other guy took the woods and approached the bunker from the left. 1 guy was distracting the 3 guys in the bunker from the front and the other 2 guys were near the right side of the bunker. Me and my partner popped out about 35-45ft away from the 3 guys in the bunker. I nailded one guy as he was lying prone and they nailed my partner in the mask. So I pulled out and never came back. While me and my partner attacked, the rest of my team just held their positions as they watched me and my partner unsuccessfully attack the bunker. Lesson: If the other 3 guys on my team attacked them immediatly, they could have taken the bunker. Attack from many directions at the same time. Game Type: Elimination Situation: It was like 8 on 8. My team let the other team go out in the woods first, so we had to go after them. Which meant we would probably get ambushed. B4 we went after them, we decided that we would split our team in half ( 2- 4man squads ). My squad didn't really know where the other squad was going but we went on anyways. After entering a large feild we quickly got into the treeline to avoid being ambushed out in the open. We started securring the area. I saw 1 guy behing a large tree about 40-50 ft away. I know he saw us but I couldn't reckognise him and I didn't want to shoot my own teammate so I immediatly notified my team, but they didn't see him. I figured that the guy behind the tree would know wether or not we were on his team because we weren't taking cover and he heard us talking, and if he was on our team, he would have came out. So I popped a dozen rounds at the tree he was behind. Then for some reason I lost him and I thought he ran away scared. But he didn't. He popped out and hit me in the upper leg and the hand, and hit another guy on my team in the back. I couldn't tell you what happened after that, cause I was out of the game! Lesson: Make your plans very clear to all parts of your team and a walky talky would have really helped. Game Type: Ambush Situation: 3 on 3. My team got 5 minutes to set up an ambush on a trail. The other team was forced to walk through the trail. |
