police officers everywhere |

people are always saying, hey, nice webpages on your firefighting, an nice tribute as well......but we were just wondering, why doesnt anyone ever do anything with police officers? and i think to myself.....what the hell? i am a firefighter.....why would i? then i get to thinking a little more. i have family that are cops, i have friends that are cops and working on a fire department for nine years, well without them, we would have gotten in some deep trouble. The domestic calls we run on, that are still out of control.....the gunshot victim where the shooter is still lurking around.....and whose going in first? not me, i dont have bullet proof turnout gear. who keeps traffic under control so we can do our job? so here it is, its not much, but lets not forget, if it wasnt for cops, we certainly would have a tough time doing our job, and lets not forget, they went in those towers without hesitation as quickley as the firefighters did, so just a little thanks to all of you. |

a hero is
one who never hesitates to tackle the most difficult problems.......
one who is always by your side....
one who knows right from wrong....
one who acts with pride....
a hero touches everyone of us, whether its by word or deed......
always tending to those who find themselves in need.......
when a hero leaves this earth, yes its sad but true......
all too many times, that hero is dressed in blue......... |

for it shields a human heart, a heart im proud to say is mine.
you must not view me as a target, because of what it is i do,
