if i had known it would be the last time i watched you sleep, i would have tucked you in a little tighter, and prayed to the lord your soul to keep.
if i had known it would be the last time i watched you walk out the door, i would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
if i had known it would be the last time i would hear your voice, lifted up in praise, i would video tape each action, each word so i could play them back everyday.
if i knew it would be the last time i could spare an extra minute or two, to stop and say i love you instead of assuming that you knew.
if i had known it would be your last time, i would have been there to share your day, well i am sure you will have many more, so i can let this one slip away.
for surely there is always tomarrow, to make up for an oversight, an we always get a seconed chance to make everything alright.
but just incase i could be wrong, and today is all i get, i would like to say how much i love you and i hope we never forget.
so if your waiting for tomarrow, why not do it today? for if tomarrow never comes, you will surely regret today..........
