|
|
Kerry Gilbert began his racing career at the age of 5 driving the #88 "Moss" 1/4 Midget. He raced up through the ranks of 1/4 Midgets winning the Grand Nationals in 1970. He has also driven 1/2 Midgets and Mini-Indy cars as well.
Kerry currently drives The # 55 East Bay Sprint car at East Bay Raceway (Tampa).
Kerry has received many awards and titles throughout his racing career. His most recent accomplishments include 2001 Track Champion in the Legends Division at Southside Speedway in Richmond and runner up in ARUSA points race for the 2003-2004 season with a 3rd place finish for 2004-2005..
Kerry was named Rookie of the year his first year in Legends at Langley and Southside as well as in the Mini-Indy in Ohio. He was selected as Legends Series Sportsman of the year at Langley in 2002. |
