Brief History of R.P.R.

During the year of 1999, an Anti Smoking Coalition has been formed in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Four people started uniting into something that led later on to the formation of R.P.R. Organization as it is now. Slava and his friend Alek were victims of the smoking guys' bullying, and were constantly pushed around by them whenever they were outside home. The anger towards smoking guys grew, and the world politics when NATO attacked Yugoslavia inspired them even greater to form an underground organization to fight for personal justice. Alek also had an online friend named Sveta, at that time she was his best friend. Unfortunately for them, distance between them was far, but nonetheless, Sveta and Alek maintained close relationship. Sveta from the Valleys inspired Alek to the forming of a broader coalition of Russian-speaking people who would share similar beliefs, and who were victims of the aggression by the Smoking Guys. In late 1999, Alek, Slava, Sveta and Leon(Sveta's brother) proclaimed themselves as the K.G.B. Agents. K.G.B. ideas for a better future led to the frequent visits between Sveta and Alek(Representing Valleys and West Hollywood respectively). Both were deeply attached to each other, and started building their relationship based on socializing and politics. During March 2000, both K.G.B. Agents confessed that they love each other, and on the high spirits planned out a perfect summer for the future organization ahead of them. Alek, who graduated Westchester High School in June 2000, established contact with his Computer Science class-mate, Yan. Both started getting to know each other better, and after Alek's graduation, the friendship between Yan and Alek reached high peak, when Alek introduced him to Diana, his cousin. Yan and Diana fell in love pretty quickly, and Yan's ideas on local society reflected Alek's at the time. So Yan, energized by Diana, offered to Slava, Sveta and Alek to form an organization. He also brought his friend Oleg with him and introduced him to the existing Anti Smoking Coalition(K.G.B.). From then on in 2000, K.G.B. Constitution was being written and signed by Sveta, Leonya, Alek, Zak(who came from Israel) Yan, Oleg, and his C.S.C. crew consisting of Anton and Alex. Slava, long time Alek's ally refused to sign the constitution, and in a secret agreement with Alek, he became an independent FSB Agent. PutinFSB15, AIM screen name, became a popular anarchist, who slowly ended his friendship with the K.G.B. guys, but still hated the Smoking Guys at the same time. Alek's neighbor Petra - first American born to be accepted into K.G.B., pressured others and especially Alek, to rename the organization into something else, since she believed that "K.G.B." name could lead to problems with American law enforcement. Alek, after long debates, decided to go for a compromise, and create new organization called "Russian Power Rangers"(R.P.R.), but at the same time keeping K.G.B. as the shadow organization of elite members of the R.P.R., which remains here to the present day. In August 2000: Sveta, Oleg, Anton, and Alek worked together on the first web-site of the Russian Power Rangers, which finally came out in September 2000, attracting attention from majority of West Hollywood. Yan, Slava and Diana were disappointed with the online organization, since they hoped for it to remain undercover. Diana, also an independent agent, later on broke up with Yan, and Yan's passion for RPR temporary diminished. However, Alek's cousin Zak who became a member of K.G.B. during June 2000, supported Alek's idea of spreading newly born organization world-wide. Zak's approval mattered to Alek a lot, since Diana, Slava, and Yan saw their idea transforming to reality as a failure of their future, and even humiliation. Alek who did not think that way, secured support from a hard-liner R.P.R. member Gretta to proceed with the web site construction. Later on, when those who favored underground type of R.P.R., saw how Alek and Oleg mainly took control of the web site building, and became independent from the internal destructive criticism, pessemists decided to let the organization form by a popular word, - "WHATEVER". Independence of two minds have prevailed, and led to acceptance of the great members like Inna, Julia, Skim, Damir, Irene, Alex B., Margarita, Lora, Marina, Galiya, Thomas, Alex K. and Alina K., Armen, Olga, Rose, Ksusha, during the years into of 2000-2002, and to become a part of an independent-united organization that allows every member to freely express themselves. R.P.R. gradually grows and expands with each day. Currently, R.P.R. web site receives 500 unique visits a day on average, and more than a 1,000 a day of hits. Participation varies with seasons, but R.P.R. achieved the stability of which nobody even thought of at 1999. Right now(2003) R.P.R. is controlled by the K.G.B. Committee consisting of nine permanent members: Alek, Damir, Inna, Irene, Leon, Oleg, Sveta, Yan, Zak. Slava, Alek's first main supporter, unfortunately declared war on R.P.R. back at the year of 2000, thus K.G.B. Committee could not grant him place in the organization. What R.P.R. Represents now, can be found in the "About Us" Section and the "Terms of Services". R.P.R. President AleK says that R.P.R. members have brighter futures compared to those who are against R.P.R.
