Welcome to the Tutor Stop
Serving Northern Viriginia (Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax) as well
as Washington DC, Kendra tutors students of all ages in Calculus, Pre-Calculus,
Trigonometry, Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Middle & Elementary School Math, as
well as in Science and English/Language Arts. Having recently scored 780 out of 800
on the GRE Math Test, she can help you prepare for your GRE, GMAT, or SAT exam.
Kendra is a GRE/GMAT instructor for the USDA Grad School, an SAT
instructor/tutor for a local tutoring agency, and tutors independently as well. She has
also taught in middle schools, high schools, and colleges.

The Tutor: Kendra has a Masters Degree in Mathematics and
Bachelors Degrees in Mathematics and Education. She has been tutoring since she was
in high school, and has taught mathematics, science and writing/grammar at middle
school, high school, and college levels.
After
spending a few years working in the high tech field, Kendra returned to education,
and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in International Affairs. Kendra is an
adjunct instructor for Northern Virginia Community College and the University of
Phoenix Online, and volunteers as an editor for GWU's Elliott School International
Affairs Review. She LOVES to help students succeed!

Rates and Terms
$30 per hour
Location: Kendra's home in Alexandria, your Home, or a local library
$35 - $45 per hour if tutor travels more than 15 min. one-way
Group Rates: $5 extra per hour per student. For example, 2 students
can share a $35 fee, 3 students share a $40 fee.
