My search took me to Orrington Maine, where I found this beautiful girl. I named her, " Cherokee Kachina Doll". She was just a baby when I got her, but what a beautiful cat she grew into. Her color and coat pattern were Brown MacTabby/White. After bringing her into my life I knew then that I wanted to breed these wonderful cats. I also wanted to do it right and responsibly. I talked with breeders, went to shows, and saw what the judges liked. I got a very good feel for what these cats were supposed to look and act like. Now I was on a Search for the very best Male I could find. With the help of a good friend, that was also getting into breeding these wonderful cats, we found the male that we were looking for in Warren Maine. The Seascape Cattery.

From these two cats I built my lines. I have no regrets at all. I am very happy with the cats that have come out of this cattery whether they are cats going to wonderful pet homes, or breeding, or show cats.  They have always made me proud.  The decision I made back 10 years ago to breed the Maine Coon Cat was a good one then, and I look forward to many more years of showing, going fun places and meeting new friends that share the same passion that I have for these wonderful, creatures.

A year after this cattery purchased Seascape Skeet, a second Breeding male was purchased. Lakecountry Cochise.  A wonderful Red Tabby/White.  All three of these cats have retired from breeding now, but their babies, and their babies, babies continue to provide us with wonderful, healthy, typey Maine Coon Cat Kittens. We thank them for their genetic contribution, and hope to keep their gene pool going on for as long as we are here.
