| This is going to be my first 4CYL Racing Merc. Here's what I have so far. Going to go through the lower unit sometime. Can't wait to continue this project when the weather warms up :o |

| Got the C lower unit apart, Turns out to have a chipped propshaft needle bearing housing, and cracked bearing carrier...Besides that the gears are FAIR and the propshaft is in very good condition. Threads are good, impeller very nice, Just needs bearings, carrier and seals and off we go.... |

| Here's an inside picture of the C case. As you can see the prop shaft bearing area is damaged (ring) and the water pump cartridge seal area is chewed up also. So now I'm on the hunt for a new case, if anyone has a case or leads to one please email me @ [email protected] |
