Fusilli Oriental Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Deli roast turkey breast, cut into 1/2" cubes (4 1/2 cups)
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • /4 lb. fresh pea pods, strings removed, sliced diagonally in half
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions, including some green tops
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. long fusilli, broken into 4" lenghts
  • wide-stlye chow-mein noodles (optional)

Peparation:

In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients except fusilli and chow mein noodles. Cook pasta according to pkg. directions in boiling salted water (4 qts. water and 1 tbsp. salt) until almost tender (9-10 minutes); drain. Rinse with cold water; drain. Gently stir into turkey mixture. Refrigerage, covered, several hrs. to blend flavors. To serve: Sprinkle with wide-style chow mein noodles, if desired.
