Cook fettuccini to your favorite state of doneness. Drain.
Finely chop the parsley.
Melt butter over low heat. Add the fettucini and toss well.
Add the cheeses and toss gently until they are melted and blended.
Add the cream and a generous sprinkling of pepper.
Blend with the butter and cheese.
Add more cream if it looks like it's not creamy enough.
Plate, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
