Here is what happens before the duel starts. Yugi and company (including Marik!, Seto, Mokuba, Odion <also known as Rishid or Lihito>, Ishizu <also known as Isis>, Bakura!, and you know the rest) go into this building in Egypt, and Yugi carries this blue cylindrical bag. He goes to that statue thing that's supposed to hold the millenium items, and he takes all of the items (puzzle, eye, necklace, ring, rod, scale, and key) out of the bag, and he puts them in. It's so cute because when Yugi takes out the millenium rod, Marik is seen looking kind of solemn (He doesn't wear that light purple hoody anymore! He's wearing this vest thing, and he doesn't have any of the gold bars. He still has earrings, so I think that's good.), and the same thing happens for Bakura (when Yugi put in the millenium ring)!
Then the statue glows and Yugi has two shadows. Then there's Yami Yugi with his own body, standing next to Yugi. They both have duel disks, and I'm not sure why they start to duel, but I think it's because the both of them can't live, so they have to duel to see who will live.
I'm not sure how the duel goes exactly but guess who wins?!?!?!?!?! YUGI WINS!!!!! HE REALLY WINS AGAINST YAMI YUGI!!!!! The monster that Yugi uses to win is this cute magician, that kind of looks like the Dark Magician Girl, except it has more blue colors than pink. (Yugi has a totally different duel deck when he duels against Yami Yugi! Not sure why...)
A sort of funny and interesting thing is that Yami Yugi used the three Egyptian God Cards: The Winged Dragon of Ra, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and Obelisk the Tormentor, and he still lost! (If anyone wonders how Yugi won, I have all but one show of the duel! My AIM screen name is NenengAdelle, but I'm not allowed to go on AIM right now because of my stupid mom!!!) It was kind of sad when Yami Yugi had the Dark Magician (Known as "Mahado" in the Japanese 5th season. Mahado is like a bodyguard for the ancient Egyptian Yugi. You guys will see when the 5th season comes out... I just hope it comes out, because it's full of lots of knives and blood and all that stuff so I wonder how the people will edit this!!! And you know the American translators are edit-crazy... In 2/25/05, I found out that the Americans aren't going to show the 5th season! They're just gonna end it when that stupid Dartz <and his stupid voice> is beaten! I am so gonna find out how to post at least some of the 5th season shows in my site... because I'm a kind person and I know that people want to see it without having to have KaZaa or whatever, and KaZaa's illegal!) and the Dark Magician Girl, and they both ahd to go to the Graveyard, because of Yugi's magician.
A funny thing that happened not in the last episode, but the 3rd to the last, was Bakura doing ring around the rosie with old Grandpa, because Yugi or Yami Yugi (not sure which one) did a good blow to the opponent! Marik looked so funny in the backround. I could tell he was thinking something like, "Where's Yami Bakura?! I want my life partner right now!!!" (Yami Bakura was sent to the Shadow Realm!!!)
When Yami Yugi loses, everyone gasps, including Seto Kaiba!
When Yugi wins, he's all tearing up and he collapses down. Yami Yugi walks over to Yugi, looking all okay and cool with it. He pulls Yugi up (and I noticed that they were more the same height, though Yugi's supposed to be more shorter). He says something reassuring (It was in Japanese; I couldn't understand it.). Then the wall behind them opens up and there's a bright light beyond the wall. Tea (also know as Anzu) says a lot of stuff and she's all teary. Joey (a.k.a. Jonouchi) says some stuff too. Yugi says something and he does a thumbs up. Then Joey also does a thumbs up.
It's all supposed to be sad right now, right?? Here's a funny thing that Yami Yugi does that made me and my 2 sisters laugh! He walked toward the light, his right arm stretched at his right, with a thumbs up, all the while looking at his thumbs up! It was like he thought his thumbs up looked fascinating or something! Heh heh heh!..
Then it becomes sad again. As he walks toward the light (which I assumed it was the Egyptian afterlife), he lowers his right arm, and his clothes change to his ancient Egyptian clothes (If anyone's interested in what the Egyptian clothes look like, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send you some piccys!). Then his ancient Egyptian friends (Seto, Grandpa, Dark Magician Girl <She wears tannish clothes, not the ordinary pink.>, Mahado <Dark Magician in tannish clothes>), and other people (not Joey, Tea, Tristan, or Duke... but other people) are seen stanging/kneeling before the Pharaoh. It's sad because it's like the Pharaoh (Yami Yugi) is finally back with his dead friends and he is also now dead.
Then the building crumbles. All this time Seto and Mokuba were standing at the most back of the group. I know it makes sense when Seto Kaiba was leading the way out of the building, but it's still kind of funny to me (picture big and tall Seto, leading the way out, that sissy!)! As they run out, with Yugi bringing up the rear, Shadi is seen (as a ghost or something) watching them run, looking solemn.
After some talking (which I couldn't understand!), the episode ends. You know those little ending things? Well it was different. Seto and Mokuba are seen in Seto's cool Blue Eyes White Dragon ariplane thing while the rest of the gang is seen in a normal stubby airplane. They're leaving the beautiful land of Egypt. Then everyone but Seto and Mokuba are in the airport. Rebecca Hopkins is seen running and hugging Yugi. Then comes Serenity, running towards Joey. Tristan and Duke run toward Serenity, but Joey pulls them off. Then the scene changes and there's Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor and they start to duel. The scene changes again, and there's Mai Valentine and some other girl about to duel those brothers from the first season, Duelist Kingdom - ugh I forgot their names - um they were wearing green and orange, and one had a high voice and one had a low voice - Yugi and Joey dueled them to get out of the cave; what were their names (If you know, please be so kind to tell me by e-mailing me at [email protected] !)? Anyway the scene changes again and it ends.
The next thing that happens is a commercial for Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. I don't think I really want to watch this, but if anyone wants to know more (e-mail me at [email protected] !), sure; I'll tell. Then there's Yugi and the gang, and they looked so original and cool after watching the commercial for this Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
