Our new baby
This is our little baby Conor. He is growing so fast. We are so happy with our family, now feeling fulfilled.
What an entry into this world that cutie had! Throughout my pregnancy I had always felt that I was firther along then doctors had put me. My belly got so big so fast. He was always active putting me though hours of hiccups, heart burn and back aches. Then the doctors found out I had to much fluid and was mearsuring FOUR weeks ahead of schedual. Now wonder I feel so horrible! So then I had to go to the doctors an additional two times a week for non stress tests along with my once a week regular appt. Pretty soon my fluids went down to a normal level and we though all was fine and dandy until I started having early contractions that were 5 minutes apart! The cure for that was drinking as much water as possible, usually more than I can handle with the 15 minute bathroom breaks. Then another scare when I thought my water broke but that was a mistake . Sheesh this boy had already made his personality show and he wasn't even out yet. Finally the day came when the doctor was supposed to induce me. Well this little guy wasn't going to have that. They started me on the medicines and then checked the position of the baby. Already feeling the affects from the induction drugs, we  Found out he was laying with his head lodged in the left side of my pelvis and his feet tucked up under the right side of my ribcage. Another reason why I though my hips felt like they were going to break apart! So our choices were an external turning of the baby or a c-cection. We went with the c-cection and are very glad we did because Conor had wiggled around so much in my belly he had managed to get the cord wrapped around his neck once. All the work was worth it though and we were rewarded with our wonderful bundle of still very active and always hiccuping joy! And that is Conor's story of entry into this world. Hope you enjoyed it!
