I am a recent graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I completed all of my student teaching at Loveland Elementary in both 2nd and 4th grade. I have now been blessed with the opportunity to teach at T.C.P. World Academy. This will be my first year of teaching, and I am really excited at the possibilities that lie ahead. My philosophy on education is very simple: I expect each student to achieve greatness. Every student is capable of learning and succeeding in my classroom. It is my job as an educator to challenge each individual and push them to do their personal best. Each and every student is different and that is how I teach. I incorporate many teaching styles into my lesson plans and LOVE hands-on activities.
Family and Hobbies:
I grew up in Kings Mills, Ohio, with my parents and younger brother. I attended Kings High School where I played soccer and softball. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for seven years. We have a beautiful four year old son, Jakob, and a chocolate lab named Bailey. We recently moved into our first house in Morrow, Ohio, which is about an hour away from T.C.P. World Academy. I love to read. My favorite child authors are Jan Brett and Roald Dahl. I love to listen to country music and am an American Idol junkie. My all time favorite movie is "Can't Buy Me Love". My hobbies include reading, scrap booking, any arts and craft activitiy, walking and traveling.
