Homework
Third Grade

Mrs. Fitch/Mrs. Peters
Please refer to our classroom handbook for helpful homework tips and reminders.
Homework in our classroom is issued in the form of a weekly packet. Packets go home on Friday and are due on Thursday mornings. Please encourage your child to do one or two pages a night. The goal of having packets is not to have  your child complete all the work in a day or so and then not have work to review on a daily basis. The goal is to make homework as flexible as possible for parents and students alike. For homework to be effective, it is important that children be engaged in a short nightly review of skills previously taught.

Students are also required to read 20 minutes a night for four nights. A weekly reading log is enclosed in each week's homework packet.
