| OHHHHHH MYYYYYYY GODDDDDDDDDD!!! As some of you might know it was my birthday on the day of Gareth's secret gig and i was very lucky to have won tickets (well my sister had!)! The concert was held at Middlesbrough Town Hall which is about 15-20mins from where i live which was extra lucky! I was virtually at the front of the queue waiting to go in, stood there about an hour lmao and watched everyone off there coaches arrive. it was really good to meet up with some ppl off the ggates message board, we were all wearing our red ribbons so we could see each other!big hello�s to RACHY (ta for the bday card hun!) LAUREN, and AMY and also Jess, Rachel (Rach Gareths Bird) and Sharon (sugarboxgirl) who I met very briefly! Hope to meet you all again soon! When we eventually got inside, it was a bit manic coz ppl started pushing but i was 1 of the first inside and OMG! me and my sis were actually leaning on the stage, he had like a stage and then a bit coming out in the middle with a lil stage at the end - when they said it was called 'Get Closer To Gareth Gates' boy did they mean it!!They started off by showing the videos to get us in the mood but we didn�t really need it lmao! As the show went on everyone was close enough to touch him and he shook hands with just about everyone there. Bless he's so sweet. he was on for about half an hour, sang Sunshine, Go Your Own Way (with backing track and acoustic), and all cried out. then he came back and asked us what we wanted and he did Sentimental, Unchained Melody and Anyone Of Us. 100% live and acoustic, it really was a special gig to remember, total priveldge for those who were lucky enough to be there. After the gig I came out and bought a flag off a random souvenir man just to say id got it at the secret gig. Then me and my sis went round the side and found the ppl id met off ggates! We all kinda huddled together so no1 would see us or he wouldn�t have come out and we kept really really quiet! Then someone said pleaseeeee can he come theres only 10 of us, next minute there he was! While other pp were talking to gaz I spoke to Kelly (his pa) and went �omg this is like the best day ever, its my birthday!� As I was in the q, it came to my turn and Kelly went �oh Gareth its this young lady�s birthday today� and he went �awww its ur birthday�happy birthday!�, gave me a kiss and signed my poster Happy Birthday Helen love from Gareth! Omg!!!!! Then he put his arm round me and some security bloke (the security were really nice actually and Kelly is lovely, me wants her job!) took a pic of us! Which may be put on the site if it turns out well! It was soo nice to meet a celeb who for 1 I totally love and for 2 who is a genuine nice bloke � he really appreciates and respects his fans which is quite rare � you can tell he really respects that without us he wouldn�t have even been there, and hes very very yummy in real life!!!
