Physical Description

Keilyra is a dual-color Key in "A Spectrum of Souls," where Violet is her Primary color and Yellow is her Secondary. Her "Vibrant" form is Celestial Intuition (a heavenly yellow). She usually hovers between her violet and yellow sides in appearance.
Keilyra always wears her GenWatch, despite its inability to tell time � the blue-and-black watch�s digital face is constantly shifting and never shows numbers. It actually hurts to look at it for very long. She occasionally wears an elaborate headdress shaped like orchid petals that pulls her yellow-streaked violet hair back. She is also rarely seen without her shiny purple Go-Go Boots, her pride and joy.
Keilyra�s skin is lavender and her eyes are gold. She has two long fingers and a normal-sized thumb on each hand. She has a "natural" tattoo in her violet color on her chest shaped like a stylized orchid, but when her Yellow side emerged, a vibrant yellow tattoo formed around it. The tattoo symbolizes her strength within, which gives her her wings � both literally and figuratively. Another tattoo that formed when she became a Dual Key is the one on her lower back, which symbolizes herself � the winged heart � taking flight and freeing that which was holding her back � the NiGHTS-esque head, symbolizing the iMAGNiREALM. This tattoo also marks the location of her "Shiri" (more on that later).

Personality
Orchid (Neutral/Dual): Her most "natural" state. Keilyra has almost always been a combination of her different sides, usually leaning more towards yellow around others and violet when she was alone. She rarely tries to switch between colors, letting her emotions control which side she shows. In this state she is friendly and affectionate, but still feels more comfortable when alone or with a chosen few friends. Music she enjoys in this state include songs by Rhapsody, Jennifer O'Connor, Imogen Heap, DragonForce, Muse, and Death Cab for Cutie.
Orchid (Violet): Her violet side, when fully lacking yellow, is quiet and distant, cynical towards others and only happy when alone. She isn't "mean," just antisocial. She is contemplative, the one who looks for meaning and metaphors in everything. Keilyra is also at her most "religious" in this state, examining the occult and chaos theory. However, she is also at her most obsessive in this state. Her favorite type of music is mellow and subdued, artists like Gravenhurst, Jim Brickman, and Jennifer O'Connor (to an extent). She also loves delicate piano ballads and selective classical music, such as The Devil's Trill.
Orchid (Yellow): Keilyra's carefree, lighthearted side. She is much less introverted in this state and almost always wears a wide grin, enjoying every moment life has to offer. This is the state she usually assumes when she dances. Her musical tastes in this state include any and all techno (but especially Eurodance), Beirut, KT Tunstall, Jimmy Buffett, and Eisley.

5 Powers

-Dancing and singing come naturally to her. Her sense of rhythm is never off.

-She has a good deal of control over the element of wind.

-She can evoke intense emotions in others by radiating songs around her like an aura � however, this affects her too, for better or for worse.

-She is physically weak and possesses little stamina except when she is moved by music. Then she can literally dance all night long.

-She possesses a magical power she calls Shiri (literally "song of my soul") that originates from the bottom of her spine. It is a power that manifests when she is moved by exceptionally beautiful music or imagery and feels like soothing fire running up her back. This power is what gives her her wings and ultimately triggers her Vibrancy, but can also be used offensively (fireballs and whatnot).

3 Weaknesses/Fears

-Fire, weed killer, bugs � anything that could harm an orchid can harm her.

-She is physically very weak, but this does not apply when she�s dancing.

-Total silence can cause her to have a mental breakdown, and that will lead to a very scary Reminiscity.

Realm (what it�s like) REMINISCITY - Keilyra lives in an enormous city just like any other, with one exception: she is the only inhabitant. Reminiscity is filled with buildings of all types, from skyscrapers to newspaper stands, but only some of them are actually buildings on the inside. Many of them contain Keilyra's memories, and some of them - the locked ones - contain her dreams.
The only building with any real "life" to it is a small arcade in the heart of the city. A square building with a flashing neon sign on top reading "DREAM AGAiN," the arcade is Keilyra's pride and joy. Inside, beneath the blacklights, spotlights, and orchids growing up the walls, are arcade games of all types, plus some that not even she knows how to work. The doors leading to other rooms appear to lead into a black void, but stepping through them without knowing what you're doing takes you to a random room. It takes getting used to to navigate the arcade properly.
Not far from the arcade is Keilyra's house, built around a tree like a treehouse on steroids. Her room has wires draped across branches of the tree going to any of a number of electronic equipment, such as her computer and video game systems.
A 15-foot-high wall encompasses the entire city, cutting it off from a thick forest right outside the borders. The forest is peaceful and heart-stoppingly beautiful for a few miles in, but then it starts to get darker and more ominous. Then, without warning, the forest ends, and you are met with the edge of a cliff in a void so black, it seems to pull light in. It is revealed that the whole of Reminiscity is a floating island, one of many in this void, but the only one that seems to be anything more than a hunk of rock. No one knows what would happen if you were to fall into the void and not have a way back out. Keilyra has theorized that the bottom of the void, if there is a bottom, might be just the top of something else.
Reminiscity's weather is entirely dependent on Keilyra's emotions and her thoughts at the moment. It gets dark when she needs to sleep, and seasons change as she expects them to.

Song that describes you and why

For me, it�s �Brightly Wound� by Eisley. It�s a song about never letting the world of whimsy and make-believe slip through your fingers just because you happen to be growing older. Mental escapism is the only thing keeping me sane, so this song is unbelievably fitting.

For Keilyra, �Listen to Your Heart� by DHT. I would have given up on Keilyra a million times by now if it weren�t for this song. I'm glad I didn't ;)
