KEUC Sustainable Second Saturday
Join the Keystone Ecological Urban Center for Sustainable Second Saturday!

When:
Second Saturday of every month, 5pm-10pm, with people coming and going as needed.

Ingredients:
- sustainable food (veggie, local, organic...)
- fun new recipes
- non-electric activities (discussions, games...)
- interesting people

Directions:
1. Gather a bunch of fun people on the second Saturday of each month.

2. Prepare a low-environmental impact meal together.

3. Eat.

4. Spend the evening together doing things that require no more electricity than lighting.

5. Come and go as you need.

Goals:
1. Reduce electric use by using the same lights for a large group and not using other electricity - the "Earth Hour" concept.

2. Reduce the footprint of the meal by using local, organic, low in the food chain food prepared for a large group

3. Introduce sustainable practices to more people in a fun casual environment

4. Teach sustainability skills that can be taken home and practiced on the other days of the month

5. Increase sense of connection and community

6. Increase investment in the local community

Suggested donation: $5 to cover cost of food

All are welcome. RSVPs are helpful so we can ensure there is enough food for everyone, but don't let that discourage you from deciding last minute to show up! RSVP to
