Besides working with my cavies I like to draw and play softball. I like to do anything outside. Stop back often and see what other new cavies I get.
Devon is a broken color Peruvian. His two colors are golden agouti and white. A Peruvian's hair can grow up to 18 inches in length. Their hair forms what are called sweeps. They have two side sweeps and a rear sweep. Their hair also falls over their face. When you show a Peruvian, you place them on a show board and brush their hair out. When you are done showing them you have to wrap their hair up to keep it clean and knot free.
Sulley is a rainbow colored Texel. His three colors are lilac, red and white. His hair will grow long and have ringlets. Their hair on their belly is curly too. Their hair should be soft and springy. Texel are breed created by mixing silkies and teddies.
Randal is a broke color satin Silkie. His two colors are red and white. Randal is 7 weeks old and is getting ready for his first show on April 8, 2006. Satin Silkies will get sweeps just like Peruvians, but with Silkies their hair goes straight back over their head. Satin Silkies have a very shiney coat.
Princess is a white American. She is really good. I showed her for the first time on March 18, 2006 and she was intermediate weight. The judge said she is going to grow into a really nice cavy. Americans are supposed to have a roman nose and the body condition is supposed to solid all the way through. They have what they call a crown over their head and it looks like a bump.
