Mike's Cavy's
Hi, I am Mike.  I got my first cavies in February 2006. I have two white Satin Americans.  My boar is 4 months old and his name is Chewy.  The sow is Missy and she is 5 months old. I will be breeding them at the end of March.  I would also like to raise cream Americans and Teddies.

Besides raising my cavies, I like to play sports.  I play baseball, soccer and want to start playing hockey.  I love to watch sports too.  I wish football season lasted all year.
This is a picture of Chewy and Missy.  I was getting them ready for their first show.  I had to give them a bath and dry their fur.  After I had to check for any loose hairs and I wiped them down with a cloth to help get rid of any other loose hairs.  Chewy is the one on the left with the pepper (thats his favorite veggie).  Missy just likes to sit around and wait for her picture to be taken.
MISSY
Missy is 5 months old now.  She didn't get to go to the show on March 18, 2006 because she wasn't feeling well.  Now she is back to normal and is ready to go.  She may go to one more show this spring.  She is now in the breeding pen with Chewy.  I am hoping to get some nice babies from her litter.  Once she has a litter, she will go back into showing in the fall.

CHEWY
Chewy is 4 months old and is a very big boy.  He is already well past Sr. weight and still has a lot of growing to do.  He went to his first show on March 18, 2006 and did really good.  He has a bit of a long nose right now but I think he will grow into it more.  Hopefully by the end of May he will become a daddy.
