But this boy is no normal boy. This boy has the hope of the chance to earn a place in one of the guilds. Every day he knows he must train himself to be ready to show he is ready to learn from any master that may come by to test the abilities of he and his cousins of his village.

He stops as he notes a noise in his stealth drills. Reallizing that a master will not tolerate the sound of wind rolling across his ears, or a drop of sweat rolling into his tunic. But this noise was not his own as he looks down he notices a strange colored bush. Seeming to be colored in the fashion of red and yellow squares, with blue lines seperating the squares. Almost like as if it were a pile of cloth. Though he sees a bush not a pile of cloth. As he try's to understand the pattern of the bush, he reallizes there is a baby in the bush.

As soon as he asked himself why a baby was out here, the baby begins to make a peculiar noise, which would give him away before time was up. He thinks of leaving the baby behind so that he can find a better hiding place, but remembers that the masters of the Spirit Guild will not tolerate selfish acts. If he abandons this baby the Spirit Guild will surely find out. Thinking this, he rushes down to attempt to mute the baby. Taking his tunic, he covers the baby like he does when playing with his toys at night when they start to make noise. This helps but the baby continues making the peculiar noise and starts shaking the bush, giving the ability to track him if any of those funny looking leaves should fall on the ground. While trying to still the baby, the bush begins to move violently and the baby begins to fall. Remembering that vibrations can be felt in the earth even to those out of earshot, he catches the baby before it touched the ground. As he regains his footing he thought he saw the bush smile. He blinks his confusion and the bush disappears, "Ah, my friend," then the sound of a slurping sip. He try's to look for the bush or where the voice could possibly be coming from, but hears the same strange voice yet now sounding like his older cousins' voices thick with ale, "Off wit' ye now. Ya gyots to fin'zh yuz gamm!..." a little laughter "... Yah! Goot shuff you gyot 'ere."

Knowing he must quickly get away from this area with all this noise, he takes no more time to try to figure out what is going on, he thinks of how to escape this scene with all the clues he was here. Remembering footprints are not left on rocks, he jogs towards the falls with the baby crooked in his arm like a loaf of bread to prevent heavy sweat.
