PARABLES OF THE TALENTS AND THE POUNDS

Summary: cont.

THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM

If we are walking under the principle of the law of work,
there will be conflicts,
for under this principle we fall into
Rom. 7:15-25

Under this principle, we are earthbound.
We are concerned and preoccupied with,
earthly, physical and material things.
The spiritual things of the heavens are closed to us.
We are earthbound by the works of the law.

    Jesus said to Peter;
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,
and whatsoever thou shalt bound on earth,
shall be bound in heaven ,
and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth,
shalt be loosed in heaven."
(Mat. 16:19).

Emphasize works, and I bind people to the earth,
and the heavenly things are closed to them.

Emphasize works, to the unbelievers,
and they cannot be save,
and cannot see nor enter in the kingdom of God.

Emphasize works, and the Christians cannot enter
into the deeper things of spiritual realm,
the deeper knowledge of the realm of God.

Emphasize Grace and heavens are opened,
the spiritual things are revealed,
and the deeper spiritual knowledge is opened to them.

When you emphasize GRACE,
you are also speaking of THE CROSS OF CHRIST and of FAITH.
It is all wrapped up in these three words.
Grace is what God hath done.
The Cross is what Christ hath done,
and faith is what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you,
that it is all done

The keys are used to unlock the door to salvation,
for the unsaved,
and to open the door to deeper spiritual knowledge,
for the believers.

These three things are the attribute of God.
The attributes or the character of God are,
Grace, Holiness and Power.
(See notes on The Glory of God

The word Keys is in the plural for it is three important things.

1.  The Grace of God; God so loved the world that He gave His Son. . .The Manna.
2.  The  Holiness of God; Christ came to die to give us holiness. . . . . . The Ten Commandments.
3.  The Power of God; The Holy Spirit raised Christ in resurrection; . . .  The Rod of Aaron

These 3 things are the keys,
which opens the door to heavens.
To the spiritual realm of God.
All these 3 things are included,
 in the Gospel of God.

And faith is what turns the keys to open the door to heaven.

Jesus said to the Lawyers, with the Scribes and the Pharisees,
"Woe unto you lawyers!
for you have taken away the key of knowledge:
ye entered in not yourselves,
and those that were entering in you hindered."
(Luk. 11:52).

Jesus said,
The lawyers have stopped others
from entering in by taking away the key of knowledge.
They have taken away the key by adding works to the Cross of Christ,
and by adding commandments and traditions of men.

Emphasize works to the unbelievers,
and you take away the key to  the door of salvation.

Emphasize works to the Christians,
and you close the door,
to deeper spiritual things of God.

This is what the Apostle Paul warns of,
in the Epistles to the Galatians,
Colossians and in other epistles.
We, too, should not add works to the Grace of God,
to the Cross of Christ and to faith,
lest we hinder the unbelievers from salvation,
and the Chrisitans from entering,
deeper into the realm of the spiritual things of God.

    The Cross of Christ,
is the central point of the key to spiritual knowledge in salvation,
and in spiritual knowledge in the deeper things of God.

The Cross of Christ reveals to us His Grace,
Holiness and His Power.
These 3 things are the attributes,
the character of God.

It reveals to us true spiritual worship.
It is what Christ has done, and we can do no more,
but to trust and walk by faith in His Word.

Honor His Word and you honor Him,

trust in His Word and you trust in Him,

obey his word and you obey Him,

Love His Word and you love Him.

See Isaiah 22:22-25,
for it has reference to the Cross of Christ as the key.

If I know the deeper meaning, of the Cross in my life,
I know that I am dead and am crucified with Him.
Jesus will take residence in my life,
for I yield or step aside, and He takes full residence as Lord.
This is emptying myself of the position in my heart.

I step aside because I know I am crucified on the Cross.
Nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me,
and the life that I now live,
I live by the faith, of the Son of God
who loved me and gave Himself for me.

The person in the Parable of the Talents, was given an additional talent,
and no comment was made that he alreadyt has 10.

He had the 10 by having the 5 and producing 5.
No comments that he already has ten because
He needed the additional talent
(more knowledge in the meaning of the Cross)
for his progressive sanctification.

In the Parable of the Pounds,
he was given the additional pound, and the comment was made,
"he hath 10 pounds."
The comment was made here, in this parable,
for he produced 10 (the world and his soul to the Lord).
Thus he already had the fulness of the Cross.

We have the abundant life,
if we understand and have the deeper knowledge of the Cross.
When we understand the deeper meaning of the working of the Cross of Christ,
the abundant life becomes a reality in our lives,
for Christ now reigns and He is LIFE abundant.

Christ is the answer to all our questions,
and is the victory to whatever adversities may come.
He has overcome for us, and now we overcometh by faith
(1Joh. 5:4-5).

Everything is in Christ.
He is our victory, but we must go through the Cross.
It is knowing the deeper operation of the Cross,
that is the key that unlocks all the mysteries
of the spiritual realm and the reality of the love,
holiness and the power of God.

The abundant life is ours in Christ, as He came to die for us,
to give life and to give life more abundantly.

To know the complete fulness of the abundant life,
while we are in the mortal bodies,
here on earth,  perhaps will not be fully realized.

We can only know it in full, when we are changed,
and have a body liken unto His body when He comes for us.
There is not sufficient words now here on earth to describe the fulness of it.

    It was through grace,
that God gave His Son to die for our sins on the cross,
and it was through grace that we believe.
It was through grace that we receive the Holy Spirit,
and all blessings is by His grace.
Yes!  It is grace for grace.

The key (Cross) was given by GRACE,
and when we believe, (faith) we have turned the key,
and open the door to spiritual truth,
to the realm of God.
Grace is what God the Father hath done,
the cross is what Christ hath done,
by faith we say that it was all what God has done,
through the power of the Holy Spirit.

"And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."
(Joh. 1:16).

Emphasize works, and you close the door to spiritual truth,
and keep others from entering in, and keep them earthbound.

How ironic, that Christians are proclaiming to the unbelievers,
that salvation is free and there is no works involved to be saved.
It was done completely by God,
and all we do is believe and receive it in our hearts.

To the Christians however, they say, now that you're saved,
you must  do the work of God.
Many are using the key to open the door to heaven, in salvation,
but because they do not know what the key is,
are closing the door to deeper spiritual knowledge,
by adding works to grace.

Add one iota of works to it and you close the door
(Rom. 11:6).

We lack the deeper knowledge of  His grace, that is the problem.
Learn more of His Grace, by knowing more and more of His Love for you,
that was revealed by His Cross.
A love that suppasses all human understanding.
A love that can only be revealed by the Spirit of God through His Word.
You can receive this knowledge only by His grace.

Yes,  it is a paradox.
We need His grace to learn more of His grace.

It was given to us by, through, and in the Cross of Christ.
There on the Cross, was the beginning of the complete victory over self,
the world and Satan.

The Cross of Christ reveals His grace,
it reveals the love,
holiness and power of God.

Learn of God himself, by learning more of Christ,
and only through his Word, the Word of God.
It is in your hand;  It must be in your heart.

Our heart must abandon self,
and open, to receive Him through His Word,
but in spiritual knowledge.
We can only learn of  more of His Grace,
by abandoning ourselves of trying,
and only abandoning ourselves,
can we learn more of His Grace.

His grace touched our hearts and we receive it by faith.
Continue in His Grace,
and you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge,
of Christ, who is our grace.

We see degrees of man's adding works to grace,
according to various religions and faith.
Some rely on the total human efforts for salvation.

Christians are saved by grace through faith,
but the degrees of works involved in various denomination continues.
We are saved by Grace through faith,
and we continue in His Grace by faith.
Christians, adding one iota of works to grace, and we close the door.

The gall of  the human race,
who thinks that salvation depends on his efforts of goodness,
and of the Christians who forget the Cross, and His love for us,
(which is our first love
and think that we can do anything for Him.

We cannot even begin to realize the depth of His Grace,
and all that is in store in the heavenly realm.
His Grace is so tremendously great,
that we in our finite mind,
see only a tiny glimpse,
of the greatness of Himself,
and only what we can,
in our humanly mind,
comprehend.

Oh, if we could only see in our hearts,
how wonderful the gift of eternal life is.
All our thanks now is only our thanksgiving,
of what we comprehend.
If we knew more of it,
(for our mind cannot comprehend all of it now),
our thanksgiving would be deeper and endless.

When He comes, we shall see what life is really and truly all about.

As we have only a glimpse of the universe,
we have a lesser glimpse of His greatness,
that shall be revealed in Christ,
in more fullness when He comes for us.

We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

The Apostle Paul says,
there are no words in our vocabulary,
that can describe what he had seen.
The suffering is not to be, nor can be compared,
with the Glory that shall be revealed in that day.

The joy of the full salvation,
and Glory that we shall share with Him,
is the hope we have in eternity.
We shall live with Him in His Glory forever and ever.

Then shall all knees bow in full adoration of Him,
who was crucified for and by our sins.

All praises belong to Him who loved us,
and gave Himself for us.
It is by Him, through Him and for Him,
that all creation will worship in eternity,
and all this was done in GRACE.

He will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords,
our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ.
