| Wednesday: Mike is off to Manchester so Pattie, q and I tag along once again. We spend the morning wandering around then Patti gets the brilliant idea to have some more piercing and q starts to panic... |
| As we drag him into the piercing shop I think he's more worried about what will be next and announces that hes definately leaving tonight before we run out of things to pierce on our own bodies and start on him... Patti gets her navel pierced and its over with too fast for me to get any shots. Darn. Then I got into the action and got the top of my ear pierced.. Something I've wanted to get done for ages. |
| We meet up with Mike and go for a nice Chinese style buffet lunch.. I couldn't bear to look at the little octopi waiting to be munched up but I did try duck beaks.. seems a waste of time to me.. ******************************************************** Now I think back I've no idea what happened to the rest of this day.. I know we had talked about heading over to Blackpool at one stage to see the Illuminations.. But the night jsut disappeared.. I seem to remember q heading off back to London about 10 or 11 that night since he had work the next day and I went off to do a final pack and sort as my flight out was the next morning. |

| Just as I was heading out to go to the van I spotted this car across the road.. Gee Would have been good to have had this one for my stay.. :) |
| All too soon this trip was over. I can't believe how fast it all went. Mike and Patti and Burner were terrific and loads of fun. I'm glad I got the chance to meet and stay with them all. So much happened on this trip. As I finished repacking and tidied up the van for the last time it was hard to sleep. Early Morning wakeup but Patti sleeps on---> |
| Despite the increased security these policemen at the airport were will to give me a smile. in fact I've got another pic somewhere one of me with both. And no I didn't ask if I could hold his gun! |
