He Sent To Me—
--Dedicated to my King
Looking through the window
of my eyes,
Clouding over the vision of
life.
Perchance I have met a seer
of souls,
Who sees life as I do and
feels its pain.
Ah great Seer, your words tell
me much,
At times they are so
mournful that,
Mine own eyes well up with
tears,
And I turn away so you
cannot see.
My face brightens when I see
your vision,
My smile sparkles when I
hear your laugh.
Why is it then that we have
not met?
For two hearts so similar
should not be kept apart.
Today and for countless days
I have touched despair,
With spirit so low that I
could not see the sun.
My Seer sensed my darkness
within,
My innermost fears, my
mournful heart.
He saw with compassion his
maiden’s face,
Which cried out to her God
for inner peace.
He saw into my soul, deep
within my heart,
And then, most poignantly,
where no words were needed,
He sent to me
