| Prolouge: August 24, 1998 Kevin is at his apartmentpreparing a candle-lit dinner for Sarah's birthday. Kevin's phone rang. "Hello?" "Kevin meet me at the park." "Why?" "Kevin, its urgent!" "Okay I'll be right there!" Kevin grabbed his car keys and left Kevin arrived shortly 'Here goes nothing' Sarah thought "Hi Sarah." "Hi." "Why did you call me here?" There was a long silence "Kevin, you know we've been going out for a long time." Kevin shook his head. "We've fought, got back together, fought so on and so forth. Well during the times we fought I grew tiresome. I'm tired of waiting on when we're gonna get back together. I think its better if we both break up. This relationship is very draining of me! Please understand its for the best." She took off the necklace that Kevin gave to her. She had the key part of the necklace and he had the heart. She placed it in the palm of his hand and left. 'What have you done?' Sarah thought as she started jer car. Kevin stood dumbfounded ' What just happened?' Sarah's words replayed in his mnd suddenly he felt a pain in his heart, the kind of pain that occurs when anybody's heart has been broken. Sarah stopped at the red light. She rubbed her stomach ' I did this for you little one. Forgive me when you get older. I did the right thing, I hope.' Sarah thought.
