| Chapter 5 Sarah was peacefully sleeping in her bed when all of a sudden.... "Mama, Mama, Mama! The telephone thingy is ringing!" Celeste yelled as she jumped up and down on Sarah's bed. "Celeste, where is the phone?" Sarah said sitting up and stopping her child from jumping. "The living room!" With that Sarah got up and ran to the phone. The answer machine gets it. "Sarah Its Kevin, I just wanted to ask you if 12:oo p.m. would be fine for us to go to the park, I guess you are probably asleep from the long talk last night. Acutally I should be asleep but I am really excited about today! Thanks again for giving me a chance. I better go. Bye." *Click, Beep* "Kevin?" Just when Sarah picked up the phone the line was dead."Crap, Celeste lets take a bath." After 15 minutes of Celeste's bath Sarah decided that she too need one herself. She placed Celeste in her play room and went to bath.30 minutes of relaxation she decided she must get ready. She only had an hour to get ready. She dried her hair, curled, and decided she would not wear makeup today. She picked out the perfect outfit made for the park. Khaki capris and her red "Hello my name is Princess" shirt of hers. She loved that shirt. Finally it was time for Celeste and her to go to the park. She found Kevin sitting at a picnic table with a basket set on top. Kevin spotted both Sarah and Celeste at from the corner of his eye. "Well Mr. Richardson, we are here what would you like us to do?"Sarah said walking to the get Celeste from the car. Kevin approached her as she released Celeste from her car seat. "This is not only for my benefit but to make you and Celeste have a wonderful time." Kevin walked Sarah and Celeste to the table and they began to chat away. They laughed and played all day and decided around 5 o'clock it was time to head home since Celeste was falling asleep. "She's so adorable." Kevin said while Sarah placed Celeste in her car seat. Once Celeste entered the seat she fell asleep. Sarah shut the car door and turned toward Kevin. "Kevin, I have one question to ask you." "Okay." "Kevin, Celeste and I had a wonderful time today and well we are not sure what you have in mind but, Do you think we should tell her about this whole situation of ours?" "I would love to but it matters what you would like to do." "Kevin, I know that you want us to but, I just don't think she is ready for this, she's only met you." "You alone hold this matter in your hands. Put you promise me that you will not let it last more than 2 years." "I promise." "Thanks, that's all I ask. I suppose I will talk to you later. It was nice seeing you and Celeste. She's such a cutey like her mother." Kevin smiled at Sarah. "Sorry Kev but your going to have to try harder for me to believe in you." Sarah said as she playfully pushed him to the direction of his car. "Oh now I see how it is." Kevin laughed "Bye. Kevin." Sarah said as she sat in her car and started it. Kevin just waved. |
