| Title: Meant to Be Author: Gina Smith Chapter 1~ I awoke to the sound of rain hitting my window. It was supposed to be a rainy day here in Florida.I guess I should tell you who I am right? Well I'm GIna. I'm 21 years ikd. I just graduated from colleeg. I'm a marine Biologist. I live in Marathon, Florida with my mother Kimberly and my doggy Ginger. Back to the Story! I got out of bed and went to my dresser. I grabbed a pair of dark green, low cut pants and a black tank top. TOday was Mother's Day so I decided to take my mother out for dinner. I walked into my bathroom and turned ont eh shower. I took off my clothes then jumped in teh shower. I hummed a song as I washed up. 15 minutes later I was done so I turned off the water and got out. I dried off. Then I got dressed, I put my hair up in a scrunchy. I put on a little makeup to match my outfit and headed downstairs. I noticed a note by the phoneso I picked it up and began to read it. Gina, I got called in to do some work in the office today. I'm sorry I can't be with you on Mother's Day. Maybe I can make it up to you tomorrow. I have a surprise for you. Swing by my office at 9:30 this morning to get it. I lvoeyou sweetie! Love, Mother! I looked at my watch. It read 9:10. I had 20 minutes to get there. I grabbed my rain coat and my keys. I wakled outside to get my camero...I started the engine and headed to my mother's office while wondering what the surprise could be. Onto Chapter 2... |
