Biography
When i left school when i was 16 i attended Tresham College studying media in my home town of Kettering.  This is where i first got into the film making world. Many of our projects were groups based and i met some great people there and we formed our own small production company Sensible MoM Productions.  We in fact still have a website for this crew (www.geocities.com/sensiblemomproductions)
It is a website well worth checking out to get a real in depth look at the stuff we came up with back then. Although it is kind of all in fun.

During my time at college i did a lot of filming for my sisters band Defenestration at live shows. Im a big music fan and Music Video is probably my biggest goal.

Other things i worked on at college include
The Amatuers (A Chase Scene based on a drugs scam)
All Waz Calm (A cheap horror film about a killer after a band)
Defenestration Documentary (Title says it all)
Music Video (A Fun party video for the song Vintage Queen by Goldfinger)
Sensible MoM Productions back in 2001

When i left Tresham in 2002 i joined Derby University. My first year there was kind of unsuccesful. I was studying a foundation art course that helped me get onto my Film degree. At this time i was working with Sensible MoM on something but not really getting much inspiration for my own pieces for uni projects. A distinct lack of equipment and knowledge of the area did not help.

When i finally started my degree in 2003 a lot had changed. I had a new computer which i could finally do my own editing on, as well as a chance to make a music video for my sisters band that went well.

Since then I've worked on a documentary about the Rock music scene, two short comedy 16mm films, and a dance based music video starring myself.  All these have brought the fun back into film making for me and i hope to continue on this front.

My Statement -
I love my family and friends, without them my life would be pretty sucky.
Even with never really having masses of money I've had quite a decent camera history. At the top of this picture is my old 8mm Samsung Camcorder. Which i used to use for everything and still do for unimportant things like parties.

On the left is my first Mini DV camcorder (JVC) which i got in 2002. Back then i was so amazed by the picture quality and up until recently had used this camera in all of my work.  It has now became my back up camera and alternative shot cam as i have moved on up to a Panasonic NV-GS120.

Pictured on the right, this camera has great colour reproduction and for its functions and size its in my opinion the best camcorder on the market if you want quality pro results at a great price. Being a student this camera was a great find financially.
