Steve Jobs Heart Attack Scam

Man, did I ever get roped in. On Oct. 3, some 18 year-old kid posted an article on ireport.com that Steve Jobs had been rushed to the hospital with chest pain and shortness of breath. The article got picked up by the financial folk and the stock plummeted 5% in 30 minutes, a market value of about 4.8 billion.
Well, turns out the article was a fake and the kid is now under investigation to determine if he made any stock moves to benefit from his fake article.
Even before the article, there has been much speculation about Steve Jobs health after a spring appearance where he looked very thin. He suffered from a form of pancreatic cancer 4 years ago but has had surgery and claims to be cancer free.
To his credit, Jobs has a good sense of humour about his health rumours. On Oct. 14, in his first public appearance since the spring, Jobs posted his blood pressure stats for all to see. A healthy 110/70. But I know that blood pressure is merely one facet of health! He has admitted that he is having nutritional problems that has led to his weight loss. I like the sound of that.
