When Washoos knocks on your door: July 31, 2007
Sometimes Washoos just comes right up and knocks on your door. A few days ago just such an event occurred. Granted it wasn't actually a washer knocking (they don't have opposable thumbs) but it was my neighbour. He had been busy building some washoo boxes to take to a get together in the afternoon. However, he just didn't feel that he had the size of the boxes down. Needless to say he knew where to come for the answers. I got him sorted out (16 inches by the way) and he returned to finish the building. He made some beautiful boxes. He's quite handy with the tools and used some very nice quality wood that I found out later from his wife was supposed to be made into flower boxes. Luckily for the wood, it was saved from an embarrasing life of holding dirt. Really, could there be a better job for wood than as a Washoo box. I'm sure all wood aspires to such responsibility.
