| This is Nick going solo and I managed to catch up with him at a seedy motel in LA. Nick: Hey wassup. I'm on the set of my new video. This is Help Me. Behind the scenes Interv: How different is this for you that all the attention is on you, as opposed to being around the rest of the guys? Nick It's kind of really odd. It's a different situation cos i've been with the guys for almost 10yrs now. You know i've gown up with them and even though...it is kind of different and scary in some little sense it's still very exciting. Having sold millions of records and performed to capacity crowds worldwide, Nick is already very familiar to living in the spotlight. Int: Do you feel under pressure more? (Nick: Yeah) cos everyone is looking soley to you not to screw up on camera Nick: In a way yeah.....there's alotta pressure on my back but i feel like i can handle it, Int: You've been doing it long enough, you kinda know what your doing kinda........ Nick: Yeah you know i grew up doing it. It's kinda just my nature....something that i know The Backstreet Boys are currently working on new material and despite rumours of a split Nick insists that the group are very much together. Int: Clear up the rumour mill for is. Is backstreet boys down, is this just a break? Nick: Mhmm Howies actually gonna be showing up today so (int: oh he is?) Yeah (laughing) so no (meaning they're not splitting up) Int: So you guys are still gonna make music together? Nick: Well.....yeah, I would love to...i mean like i said i've been in the group since i was 12, I'm 22 now so.... i mean this is just something new that i wanna try and do, so i'm gonna be doing this for a small amount of time. I would really love to get back with the guys and record some more music. I think it would be incredible. |
