Hi, my name is Kevin and I was a mate on the Pilot II from 7/79 - 8/84. I currently reside in Utah, but my thoughts often take me to my fond memories of Sheepshead Bay! Being a Mate on the Pilot was, what I consider, a dream job. I felt, as every Mate felt, that I worked on the Best Boat in the Bay! We had the Best Crew and the Best Owner/Operator, Capt. Tom. Thanks to Capt. Tom, Capt. Harvey, Tony P. Joey R., Jerry, Cy Goldberg, and countless others. I had met the most interesting people down at the bay, and made some life long friends as well. I would like to thank Harry Ostrow for taking these photos for me way back in the early 1980's. This page is a dedication to the time that once was and the childhood that I think was the best.
