Allusion
This is an allusion relating to Narcissus, he is a man that fell in love with himself in a Greek myth. He fell in love with a reflection of him that he saw in a puddle he couldn’t leave it and he would die. The woman in this poem is narcissistic as she is always looking at herself in a mirror wandering if she is beautiful. All of this remains true to the poems tone of honesty with no pity.
