THE ORIGINAL COVER...
Steve Power did a great job on the cover using a picture of me from the Manuels River Trail.  Unfortuanately this was put together just before I left to get back to school and I didn't have the resources to make copies of this for all the albums.  If I had it would have been cheap looking and not done Steve's work any justice.  So in keeping with the ideas that this was a very live album, simply put together and independent, a new album cover was designed.  This one was plain white with the words Bare Bones in the center.  I really liked the title Tin Men, but it just didn't work with this new design.  I wanted to save it for something cooler.  The night before the release party, when I was rushing around trying to get everything done, an artist friend of mine, Pat Canning, offered to do some on -the-spot lettering for the cover.  He came up with a very cool looking boney text, but troubles with photocopiers meant that I couldn't use it without Pat having to do each one individually.  Doing the covers in basic letters was much easier.  Since the back cover was a little more elaborate, with track listing, thank yous, etc, these were photocopied.  More trouble with the machines meant I couldn't double side the copies.  So each back side had to be glued on to the front side.  It took a while, but everything came together in the end in time for the release...
I'll never forget the night we actually finished the album.  Steve printed off the cover and handed me the first copy.  It was about 4 am and Jeff, Steve and myself went for coffee.  I couldn't stop looking at the CD.  I even broght it into Tim  Horton's with me.  It had been a dream of mine to make a CD and it had finally happened.  Great big massive thanks go to every body involved....but that's another page...
