Excerpt from Kevin's diary 22/02/02
"I have always thought that major events are a great places to educate the public on the plight of captive gnomes. The more places a liberated gnome is seen, the more people realise what we are capable of. With this in mind, I headed off to the Winter Olympics. I was very honoured to be asked to carry the torch (the first gnome ever to be invited), and as the days passed I tried several of the winter sports available. I think my favourite was the bobsled, although I also enjoyed the freestyle aerials. Quite frankly the luge was a little scary (I mean how fast can a gnome go feet first down an ice track?), although I did set a track record as the fastest gnome ever to slide." Kevin. |
