Well, what a whirlwind weekend it has been.
Although I am a very happy gnome (liberated gnomes always are), I am not a "gay" gnome, but when I was asked to march at the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney on March 2nd, I immediately answered yes!!
You see, there are gay gnomes out there, gnomes who are afraid to come out of the closet. They already live under persecution, imagine how much worse life would become for them if they admitted to being gay.
I do not judge gnomes or people on their race, religion or sexuality.
I say "Live and let live".
On Sunday I flew back to Brisbane. As it was one of Ansett's last flights, I was offered the controls of the plane as a bit of a publicity stunt..... What a buzz!
I then had the pleasure of meeting royalty, not a drag queen, but the real thing, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
