Antenatal classes take place over a 4 week period, each
session lasting 2 hours from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm on Monday evenings. Ideally you should attend the sessions at around 28 to
32 weeks of pregnancy , please book early to guarantee a place . Each series will cover the following topics – Week 1 The onset of labour – ·

Natural or assisted labour ·
3 stages of labour Week 2 Pain Relief ·

The Hospital Stay and Routine

Home Safety The
cost of each 4 week course is £120, per couple payable in advance by cheque
to ensure your place. This includes light refreshments. See the
“when and where” page for details of dates. You
will also be invited to a “postnatal reunion” where you can “show off” your
new baby, discuss your experiences and make new long lasting friendships. I aim
to limit the classes to a maximum of 8 couples per session. Please
