| Please join in a 5K walk around Lunenburg at noon on September 11, 2005. The walk will begin at the Lunenburg High School Football Field, Massachusetts Avenue/Route 2A, Lunenburg, MA. The money raised will be used to construct a Memorial Gate to the Lunenburg Athletic Fields in memory of Kevin Szocik who was killed while working at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Registration is $15.00 per person; one registration form per person. Walk registration may be performed three different ways: 1. by filling out the completely online registration form with registration payment made via the Paypal button on the right 2. by sending in the print registration form (included with the locally distributed brochure) along with a check 3. by printing out the registration form included on this website along with a check. You may also raise funds by asking others to sponsor your walk (click here for Optional Sponsor Form). Checks can be made payable to the Kevin T. Szocik Memorial Scholarship Fund and sent to the address below. All monies raised will be used in the construction of the memorial gate. Any funds raised in excess of the cost of the gate will be applied directly to the scholarship fund. The first 500 walkers to register will receive a free long-sleeved t-shirt. |
