Ryu Hayabusa, Shinobi of the Spider Clan
Ryu Hayabusa is my 9th level ninja, who is active in a modified Oriental Adventures.  He is my ultimate character; the one character who is my true love.  He is based off the character of same name from the Ninja Gaiden video games produced by Techmo and especially Team Ninja.  No infringement is intended.

Appearance:
One would see before them a large man, standing 5'10 and 172 lbs.  Relatively light skin and brilliant green eyes are all of a face one can see, as the rest is covered by a tightly woven black cloth mask tucked behind a matching hood, rather similar to an Ace bandage.  The upper part of the head covering is supported by an elaborate silver headband that ends in a point along his nose.  A long, loose-flowing scarf
wraps around his neck and drapes behind him to where his buttocks meets his hamstring.  He wears a black leather suit with leather straps holding it close to his skin, leaving maximum room for maneuverability while outlining a muscular torso.  Several areas appear reinforced, but the leather would probably not be thick enough to be called armor.  The ensemble is sleeveless, leaving plenty of room to show bare, muscle-bound arms.  Matching black metal shin guards and wraparound bracers adorn the outfit, as well as fingerless gloves and gold armlets.  Strapped to his back is a katana with a maroon and black hilt and a bloodstone fitted into it, with a matching wakizashi on his left hip.
Personality:  Ryu is not the typical Spider in terms of speechcraft, and he can sometimes be a bit brash or even condescending, especially since he is rather cocky in combat.  He is able, in his clan's fashion, to convince others of the implausible, but rarely excersizes this.  He has a very peculiar style, caring more about fact than possibility, and does not enjoy entertaining whims.  Despite this, he is very wise for his age of twenty-three and knows that not all true things can be proven.  His sense of honor is greater than even the most legitimate clansperson, and he finds those without it detestable.  He forms opinions of people
slowly, and shows the typical patience expected of a Spider.  His largest problem is that he expects others to share this virtue, and cannot understand when people rush headlong into action.  Strongest of all his characteristics is his overwhelming sense of responsibility.
