| In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer. | ||||||||||||||||
| In the world of Greyhawk, when something goes bump in the night, it's probably going to eat you. The church of Pelor is known for being proponents of life, and for hating undead. But who of that church is willing to actually hunt down and destroy undead, like old trash? 1,000 years ago, the church of Pelor created the slayer. This young, usually teenaged girl is the defender of the good races, commissioned by the church of Pelor. Faith is the current slayer. She is an 11th- level cleric of Pelor who specializes in crafting and wielding wooden stakes. Her favored weapon for most things, though, is her Holy Disruption mace. She also crafts powerful weapons (like the aforementioned mace), as I could see Dushku's Faith doing just that. |

| Now, Faith is a bit of a loose cannon, and prefers a more worldy view of Slaying than the church of Pelor prefers. For instance, she tries to sleep with all the party members, tortures demons to interrogate them, and has been known to use innocents to bait vampires. Despite this, Pelor seems to be smiling on her, probably because she gets the job done rather efficiently. Now, if you're completely dim (i.e., don't know why pictures of Eliza Dushku with a stake are on this page), Faith is based off the character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, seasons 3 and 4 (most notably). I have no intention of my character going Neutral Evil, but the concept is there. Faith is one of my favorite characters and |

| my party needed a cleric. She may not be by the book, and Faith might be more of a Fighter, but I worked with it. Perhaps I will one day play a crazed Sorceress named Druscilla. Anyway, Faith is currently hunting a very powerful vampire named Gulthius. He was staked many years ago and rose up when the stake was removed, and she seeks no finish him for good. |
