Elric's Adventures
(And Mishaps)
Whiskers- One day in his crate house, the metal-bound boy was sipping the leftovers of his malt when it slipped out of his fingers, crashing to the ground and spilling all over.  Elric began to cry from all the stress, but his tears were stifled as he saw a small rat come out of one of the crates and start to lap up the dessert.  "So you like malts too?"  Elric laughed.  He admired the animal for its courage, and was jealous of its ability to taste the drink.  Over the next week he and the street critter became friends.
The Adventuring Begins-  One particularly rainy day a well-dressed man in glamerweave came into the alley, asking for, "the warforged child."  Curious, and not particularly wise, Elric answered, Whickers in hand.  As it turned out, the two men he had stopped from making a scene were in fact members of two of Sharn's more powerful gangs, and Elric helped the two from starting an underground war.  A new band of warforged rogues had been causing quite a stir, and the strange man asked if the young diplomat would negotiate a truce for the two sides.

The assignment was more dangerous and required more use of magic than Elric imagined, but as rewards for the settled deal, the cloaked man gave the growing sorcerer a special cloak that was hinted to, "help him more and more as his power grew," and hundreds in gold.  The most precious gift given was his bonus, the payment of enchanting whiskers as Elric's familiar.  The duo made many friends over the course of the adventure, but the sorcerer never found out the cloaked man's name, as after the deal was done he never showed up to the alley again.  With his new items and a special friend who he loves more than anything, the mage decided to begin actively hunting for what the strange mark on his calf meant.
Characters of interest:

Axer-  A female personality warforged with a greataxe for a left hand.  She is a powerful warrior; a mighty relic left from the Last War.  Axer feels pity toward Elric and taught him the advantages of his new body.

Boris- Boris is the only named individual of the mysterious assassin's guild.  Boris is an expert combat caster, but also an inventor who his fascinated by the concept of the warforged. Originally, the hit man was sent to kill Elric, and is one of the two people who knows his soul is human.

Eleron and Samati- Elric has not forgotten his past, and has begun to develop an obsession with spying on his parents.  He occassionally sits outside their bedroom window all night, trying to hear the goings on in his home.  He misses his parents, who are to this day wracked with grief.  He recently discovered Samati is pregnant, and fears being replaced.

Durcnor Cannith-  Durcnor is not an enemy to Elric per se, but the sorcerer ends up hiding from this Dwarf of house Cannith.  The reputable Artificer bears the mark of making, and suspects that the miniature warforged is more than a standard scout.  Believing him to be the next evolution of warforged, Durcnor seeks to dissect him and find out what began this change.

Mesmi- This peddler lives on the streets.  Elric has never totally trusted him, but has no reason not to.  When he needs information about what underground organization is doing what, Mesmi can be counted on to know all about it.  Though a bum, he keeps his ear close to the ground, and tends to know what's going on.

Cloaked Gang Leader (Name unknown)- Boris's boss and the source of most of Elric's belongings.  He suddenly stopped his visits to the alley, and Elric suspects he was caught by the authorities.

Shorne- Elric's negotiations have angered one of the leaders of the assassin's guild.  Elric suspects this is because his negotiations lowered urban combat and assassinations, and this leader of the guild resents the drop in business.  Elric has never seen Shorne, but knows of his existence, and that he sent Boris.
