| In the most popular Legend of Zelda video game, "The Ocarina of Time," the Hero of Time, Link, is too young to fulfill his destiny right away, so his soul is kept in the Sacred Realm for seven years. During that time, Ganondorf's forces destroyed Hyrule Castle, froze of the Zora's Domain, drained lake Hylia, and allowed the Forbidden Woods to become overgrown with evil Deku baba. Most of the residents of Hyrule didn't even know the legend of the Triforce. Those who did probably heard that a great hero would come to save them from the dark time. Either way, the Hylian nobility was no doubt overthrown and the military forces crushed. All the people know Ganondorf is evil, but if this is the case, why does Kakariko village stand firm? Why doesn't everyone move to Termina? Even if Ganondorf's reign was absolute, there would be those who would step up to fight back his forces of darkness. With no support from the sages, they would rely on their wits and non-triforce-imbued courage. My campaign starts a few months before Link starts having nightmares. Ganondorf is trying to force the spiritual stones out of their protectors by cursing them. |

| Although the talents of the adventurers is great and they are valiant, Ganondorf will still have an iron grip on Hyrule in seven years. Because of this fact each player will play two characters, rotating every other week. One character will believe in the hero of time and will battle the forces of evil while awaiting his coming. The other is a servant of Ganondorf, believing wholeheartedly in his ability to bring them more power. If there is a hero of time, he must be squashed before he can rise. The dungeons are puzzle, not combat based, and I use a revised and working version of the Zelda D20 rules. I have only a basic outline of the laster parts of the storyline, but can definitely say Sheik and most of the sages will feature prominantly. |
