| I
have about 15 years of full-time experience in the media.
As a radio reporter, I covered the 1991 prison uprising
at Southport Correctional Facility in Elmira, N.Y., for
the Mutual Broadcasting System. After 1992, my primary
radio duties were outside the newsroom. Still, I
maintained a presence through anchoring or producing
newscasts. My newspaper experience includes a contribution to a 2004 Keystone Press Award-winning series on youth violence in Williamsport, Pa. In addition, I moderated a forum that year with state treasurer candidates Robert P. Casey Jr. and Jean Craige Pepper. I also covered Vice President Dick Cheney's two visits to Williamsport as part of my thorough election coverage that year. Since December 2004, I have been a copy
editor-page designer and business editor for the
Sun-Gazette. |
