Geraldine Lois Kinney

GOUDREAU, GERALDINE LOIS - The death of Geraldine L. (Kinney) Goudreau of Saint John East, wife of E. Wayne Goudreau occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 22, 2008. Born in Perth-Andover she was the daughter of Madeline (Murchison) Kinney and the late Waymon Kinney. Gerry had a special place in her heart for small children and whether it be baking a cake, hemming a pair of pants or babysitting she loved to make other people happy. In addition to her mother Madeline and her husband, Wayne, she is survived by her son, Jamie (Kathy) Goudreau of Quispamsis; two daughters, Lisa Badeau of Saint John, and Melissa (Charles) Mott of Red Head; three brothers, Ronald (Jeannie) Kinney of Alberta, Andrew (Wendy) Kinney of Saint John West, Daniel Kinney of Alberta; one sister, Roberta Charters ((Paul Smith) of Saint John; six grandchildren, Alisha, Sabrina, Miranda, Kaiden, Robyn and Ryan. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, (634-1701) visitation will take place on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the I.W.K Children's Hospital would be appreciated by her family. Margaret E MURCHISON

Publish Date: Thursday, May 25, 2000 WOOD, Margaret E., 77 WATERVILLE and PRESQUE ISLE - Margaret E. Wood, 77, died on Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Oak Grove Nursing Care Center. She was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Caribou, the daughter of Reid and Louisa (Butler) Murchison. She was the wife of Floyd G. Wood, who died in 1980. She was a member of Pleasant Street Methodist Church, "Barbara Beecher Circle", United Methodist Women, where she was head of Special Missions, Rebekahs, "Young at Hearts", "In Stitches" quilting group, life member of the Spragueville Extension, a former "Mother of the Year" volunteer at the Muskie Center and a Girl Scout leader for many years. She went on a Missions Trip to Haiti in 1990. Survivors include three children, Peggy Kline of Newport News, Va., Floyd G. Wood Jr. of Columbia, S.C., Allan D. Wood of Englewood, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Julianna, Morgan, Michael, Amanda, Priscilla and Donovan; a sister, Madeline Kinney of St. John, N.B., Canada, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 25. Committal service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
