George Goodman EVERETT was born on 19 Dec 1794 in Milton Bryant, Bedfordshire, England. He was baptized on 11 Jan 1795 in Milton Bryant, Bedfordshire, England.27 <sources.html> He immigrated in 1847. Paul Mitchell reports that they landed at St. John before coming to Woodstock. From there they travelled by foot to Andover and established their home on Echo Hill along with brothers William, Sam and Joseph. He appeared in the census in 1850 in Aroostook County, Maine.28 <sources.html> He is a laborer, age 50, born in England. He is living with his wife, Ann, and son, Samuel. He died on 28 Dec 1871 in Tobique, New Brunswick.<sources.html> Headstone cites this a date of death; also states his age as 77. Church records cite Dec 30 as date of death and his age as 74. He was also known as George Everett. This is how he is named on his headstone. He was buried in Anglican Cemetery - Andover, NB.
