"CONNER, William McNeil (Bill) - Peacefully at his home in Grimsby on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 10:45 p.m., surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer, in his 77th year. We lost a loving husband and best friend, a wonderful father and the best Papa in the world. Loving husband of Lorna (nee Lewis) of 53 years. Cherished father of Debbie (Bob Kinoshita), Diana Fozard and Janice Conner. The pride and joy of Bill's life are his grandchildren Jason and Adam Kinoshita and Matthew Chelsea and Korie Fozard. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Jessie King, Gladys (Alfred) Weisbrod, brother Jim (Lillian) Conner, brothers-in-law John, Earl, Sonny (Sylvia), Warren (Dorothy), sister-in-law Marion and many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. Bill is predeceased by his sisters Isabel and Helen. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 10 Mountain Street, Grimsby on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in memory of Bill to the VON or the Homefront Cancer Service would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Bev, Cheri, Mike, Cathy and the 2 Barbs of the VON, Parameds, Sheila, Gail, Lorraine and Robert, friends, neighbours, Dr. Pierce, Dr. Marshall, Reverend Ray Lewis and Reverend Dale Massender for their tender care, support and love they have shown to Bill and our family. As Bill would say "Very Salubrious"."

"GRANT-HENDERSON, Charles James "Jim" Peacefully at McMaster Hospital on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of 43 years to Beryl (nee Vaughan). Loving father of Marcy (Paul) and Judy. Cherished Papa of Geoffrey and Sarah. Loving big brother of Rhonda, Sandra (David) and Scott (Pam). He will be sadly missed by his sister and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. A special thank you to all the nurses and doctors on 3X that took such good care of Jim. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family Sunday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 until the Celebration of Jim's Life at 11 a.m. at the Cattel, Eaton and Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas.
