Nagasaki Gaigo School Fastival

I'm glad to see that some anime stereotypes are in fact true. School festivals are just like they are shown on the cartoons. At this particular one I sold smoothies(a traditional American food) and entertained coutless dozens with my magical skills.

This is the area designated for the festival. Food booths on 3 sides and a stage in front. The center area is for milling around or watching the show.

I sure do love fresh Yakisoba. Even better when it is made right in front of me.

And after some tasty Yakisoba, how about some fresh donuts?

These two MC's walked around stopping at different booths, taste-testing food and interviewing people.

One the first day of the festival there was bingo. Some of the prizes were really cool. (2 guitars, a Mini-Disc player, a bike) So were were hyped to play. Ben and I each wanted the Mini-Disc player. I was gonna get it!

Of course I forgot to take into account the fact that I never win at anything. (Anyone who has played video games against me knows this) Proof of this is the above picture 17 numbers had been called, and you can see from my card that I currently have: Free space. Ben on the other hand was having good luck, he yelled bingo and won a brand new...

Cook-thing!

My luck on the other hand went from bad to worse. It was bad when I was loosing, it was worse when I won. The thing I won was a very heavy box of very-bad-tasting-milk-juice-drink-thing called "Cal-King" BTW I had to carry this thing aprox. 2 miles back home. I hated it a lot by that time. Here is me with it.

Tambo the Great! Live in Nagasaki! One Show Only! I did about 6 tricks@(at least 3 of which were good), took my bows and turned it over to the band.

Hats With Belts. The Band. The Legend. Opening with the Super Mario Bros. theme and exploding into original pieces, this powerhouse band held the 8 or 9 people who woke up that early in the palms of their hands.
