Ok, Ben, Tyler and I are coming back from somewhere (I cannot recall now). We were waiting at a bus or tram (streetcar) stop and I looked behind me and saw...
This!
A small man on a ladder, casually setting fire to Japan.
I took out my camera and took pictures in case the police needed evidence. But, to my surprise none of the Japanese seemed to notice or care that this was going on. This guy stopped to look, but the roaring blaze only kept his interst for a few seconds before moving on. Is it common practice in Japan to Start small fires between building on busy streets? You can tell from this picture that there are cars going by.

Perhaps I am overreacting but when I first saw this I couldn't even belive it. I think it's pretty odd.
